One of the most charismatic, inspiring and interesting people I have ever met. One memory of Byron is when I took the train to Delaware from Philadelphia to meet him for dinner. We met at his house for a drink then went out for dinner. We got so deep into conversation that we completely lost track of time and I missed my train.
The attached photos are added to the memorial of Glen David Meyer to help share their legacy. Glen was always a calm, professional, kind, and caring RN. Glen was exemplary in his care of his patients and cooperation with fellow workers. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by father-in-law Earl Young; brother-in-law Steve Brudvig, and sister-in-law LaVonne Young. When not caring for his patients or spending time with family and friends, you could often find Glen reading, learning, driving grain-cart, or fixing things. I'd come to know Byron some in passing, just a few years before the Pandemic, and we'd met up a few times for breakfast, or coffee. We connected on an Entrepreneurial enthusiasm level, mentioned here by others, and I think each of us had a sense that we'd work together in something one day.
Byron Wayne Kelley was born to James McGhee, who proceeded him in death, and Barbara Johnson.
